Preparation of Tb (III) Complex Material with 1-acetyl-2-naphthol-4, 4'-diaminodiphenyl Ether

Abstract:

A new Tb (III) complex material was synthesized from Tb(NO3)3•6H2O and 1-acetyl-2-naphthol-4, 4'-diaminodiphenyl ether. The infrared characterization and luminescent properties of the Tb (III) complex material were studied. Based on the fluorescent property, the Tb (III) complex material can only emit the fluorescence of the ligand, but not emit the characteristic fluorescence of Tb (III) ion in solid and in organic solvents. This indicates that the energy transfer process between the ligand and Tb (III) ion is ineffective.
