A Synergy Analysis on Industry Structure and the Science & Technology Progress in Shanxi Province

Abstract:

With the development of science and technology, the economy increase gradually from relying on the labor, the investment of capital and the low level overlapping production to growing by the science and technology progress to achieve reasonable allocation of economic resources to improve the productive forces. The upgrading of industry structure and the progress of science and technology are supplementing each other. This paper evaluated the development of the industry structure system and the progress of science and technology system separately by the principal component analysis, then using the regression analysis to achieve the quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis of the synergy of the two systems. This paper also uses the data analysis to achieve the cooperative development situation between industry structure and the progress of science and technology system of Shanxi province.
