Numerical Simulation Study on BF Raceway

Based on the grain orbit model, this paper built the raceway turbulent mathematical model on the consider of various factors, such as coke pyrogenation, water evaporation, coke burning, air turbulent and other chemical reactions in BF raceway, and used the secondary development of CFX software to complete the numerical simulation of the mathematical model and to analyze the state in a visualization way. The distribution rule of the gas flow is that the flow is poor in the center of BF and the flow is high in the BF fringe. The results of the numerical resolution were confirmed by the BF experiments. This study provided data support for optimizing the BF operating system.
