Effect of Displacement Agents on Stability of the Produced Liquid from ASP Flooding

Article Preview

Abstract:

Using Turbiscan stability analyzer made in FORMULACTION Company from France, the effect of displacement agents on stability of produced liquid from ASP flooding can be quickly and accurately detected by measure both the change of backscattering(for dehydration rate) and the change of transmission light (for oil in the sewage water). It was found that the stability of W/O emulsion gradually increased with the displacement agents(such as alkali, surfactant and polymer), which means the dehydration rate gradually decreased, and the stability of O/W emulsion gradually increased, which means the oil content in the sewage water increased, but content of alkali is lower than 700mg/L, the result is on contrary.
