Novel Technology for Producing Iron Oxide Red from Bypoduct Ferrophosphorus

Article Preview

Abstract:

Novel technology for producing iron oxide red from bypoduct ferrophosphorus was proposed. The conversion rate of Fe can reach 91% when the acidolysis temperature is 408 K,acidolysis time is 90 min, the dosage of H2SO4 is 1.2 times the theoreti-cal value, the ratio of the mass of water for calcined product is 0.9 and the ratio of the mass of catalyst for calcined product is 0.02. The comprehensive recovery and utilization of ferrophos-phorus is feasible with this process.
