Research on Erosion Mechanical Parameters of Wind-Sand Environmentin the Central and Western Region of Inner Mongolia

Article Preview

Abstract:

The central and western region of Inner Mongolia is a high activity area of sandstorm in northern China, the infrastructures in this region have been long-time eroded by wind-sand environment, those durability and safety have been seriously affected. This paper analyzed the meteorological standards and geographical distribution characteristics of wind-sand environment, studied erosion mechanical parameters of wind-sand environment in the central and western region of Inner Mongolia. The results will provide the basis for protecting engineering materials and structures not to erode by wind-sand environment.
