Development and Application of Off-Line Simulation Software for Hot Strip Continuous Rolling

Article Preview

Abstract:

Off-line simulation software of hot strip continuous rolling is developed by taking rolling schedule and strip shape as main modules. Based on theoretical models and modularization design, the simulation system which has friendly interfaces and efficient kernel is established by using Visual Basic as visible platform and C++ as source code language. By contrast, the results calculated by the software are reliable, it adapts to mill types selection and technology quoted of hot rolling. The software improves efficiency for designer and has high practical value.
