Optomechanical Design and Analysis for Rotating Telescope Optical System

Article Preview

Abstract:

Based on system technical specifications,we established optomechanical design and analysis for a rotating telescope optical system. Firstly, modal analysis was done for the main optical barrel. Secondly, Analysis on the changes in MTF caused by changes of temperature was finished, and obtained the MTF trend corresponding to changes of temperature for two different materials. Finally, Analysis on the changes in MTF caused by rotating performance based on experimental data was done and proposed the requirements of rotating performance based on MTF. Through the above analysis, it is proved that the structure of rotating telescope optical system can achieve the requirements of original optical design.
