Abstract:

This paper is focus on visualization technology in the application of urban planning. The 3D urban planning system is realized for planning design and exhibition. The author has made a small attempt in the field of urban planning visualization. Some techniques based on experience before can be shown intuitively in 3D urban planning system. This system has a very important significance and application value for increasing urban planning design level and research on rebuilding of the old cities. However, 3D urban planning system as a new technology platform has just begun in the field of application science.
