On the Manifestations, Causes and Consequences of the Incoordination between Industrial and Consumption Structures

Abstract:

From the perspective of internal relationships in the process of social reproductions, the level of solution consumption problems is one major norm to measure whether the performance and development of a country’s economy is healthy, especially productive structure, industrial structure, and the relation between consumption and need. The key problem is whether between industrial structure and demand structure is adaptive. Thus, the measure standard of national economic running lies in the solution of consumption issues, that is, the solution of making consumption structure and industrial structure compatible. Basing on the relation between industrial and consumption structures in China, the paper introduces the manifestations, causes and consequences of the incoordination between industrial and consumption structures.
