Proof on the Maintenance of Gray Continuity in the Image of Broken Line Type Gray after Erosion

Article Preview

Abstract:

The maintenance of gray continuity in the image after the mathematical morphology operations is received more and more attention. Erosion is one of the most basic operations in the Mathematical morphology. In this paper, the maintenance of gray continuity after erosion was proved in the image of broken line type gray, which lays the theoretical foundation for the application of erosion in the image processing of recognition.
