High Resolution LADAR Based on Scanning Distance-Imaging

Abstract:

One kind of scanning distance-imaging system based on time-of-flight measurement is reported in this paper. With Nd:YAG Laser for light source, oscillating mirror for light beam scanning, SR620 for fly time measuring, the target tridimensional image is traced out through the software. This prototype has great distance-resolution as 15cm, angle-resolution as 1mrad ×1mrad, scan scale as 10×10°, and the detective range as 1km. The mathematical model of sampling, data mapping and coordinate transform are discussed, which used for system design. And the final range images are also given as follow
