Research on Velocity Hydrophone Suspension Dynamics

Article Preview

Abstract:

Research on the dynamics of suspended velocity hydrophone was achieved. Equivalent circuit model of velocity hydrophone merged in liquid was built, and the analysis of the influence on velocity measurement caused by the suspension system and its anisotropic was carried out. Result shows that nature resonance of suspension affects the band of sensor, and phase error can be reduced in several ways. Suspension anisotropy makes the sensor overestimate the magnitude of the true signal.
