The Product Structure Evolution Model for Maintenance Based on Finite Automaton

Article Preview

Abstract:

The product structure evolution caused by maintenance activity was important constituent part of Product Lifecycle Management, but it has not been in-depth research in PLM and maintenance management. The mechanism of product structure evolution in maintenance stage was analyzed and the product structure evolution model for maintenance was set up in this paper. First, the product structure evolution was decomposed into the change of maintain status item, all sort of maintain events were classified into three classes according to their maintain method for maintain status item, then the kinetics characters of product structure evolution were sum up .Second, the change of maintain status item was marked and recorded through four classes of maintain status, then the relationship between maintain event and maintain status of maintain status item was modeled based on finite automaton, so the product structure evolution model for maintenance was set up. At last, the example of product structure evolution of SIDEL SBO14 bottle blowing machines was adopted to set forth above-mentioned.
