Abstract: Abstract: Based on the graphic theory and the design method of classification model, a new method of optimum design of drive project in lathe speed-change system is proposed. The mathematical model and optimum method are set up. This method can be used to design speed changing gear box of the lathe. This has a very important meaning in improving design precision and shorting design time.

Abstract: This paper is contraposed how to determine the decomposition depth of the wavelet transform. Based on the principle of the wavelet coefficient keep the “energy” of signal, combined with Mallat algorithm, the article designs a simple algorithm. Though it, we could confirm the ideal decomposition depth of the wavelet analysis. Finally, through an example, we could verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.

Abstract: Because of the outstanding advantages of genetic algorithms in solving optimization problems of engineering design, in this paper, using genetic algorithm combined with Kansei Engineering as a optimal design method for product’s semantics modeling design, and using real-coded way to characterize shape characteristics of CNC machine tools, comprehensive accounted of user’s semantic needs and color Mido, then, established the fitness function, combined with the key components to complete the design. By case analysis shows that the method is feasible, and lays a foundation for intelligent design of CNC machine tools.

Abstract: The dynamic process of the weld pool is a high complex object with strong nonlinearity, mult-variable coupling and a mount of stochastic and uncertain factors. It is very difficult to obtain an analysis mathematic model of weld pool dynamics. Pulsed Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is an important metal’s welding technology, which has been widely applied in the aerospace and manufacturing areas. Therefore, the dynamic characteristic of the welding process has always been hot and difficult in the field of academic research and engineering applications. In order to solve the difficulties of modeling and controlling of nonlinear system, this paper investigates the dynamic characters of the pulsed GTAW from the classic control systems. It obtains the SISO transfer function model by the area method and least square method. The results of simulation experiment show that the area method is better between the two methods.

Abstract: The kinematic characteristics and work principle of dump truck lifting mechanism are very complex. In this paper kinematics analysis with complex vector method is used. By this method the angle motion characteristics of components are obtained, the main parameters are calculated and the center of mass is determined when dumping granular materials. Through kinematic analysis, this paper provides a theoretical basis for reliability and stability of lifting mechanism and improves the design of heavy dump truck.

Abstract: Taking local-branded disc brakes for example, establishing the finite element model (FEM) of the assembly. Solving their stress and strain under work conditions, and the stress strain of its key components calipers and brackets is tested. The results showed that finite element analysis result of the caliper and bracket is consistent with experimental results, in line with engineering application, so finite element analysis process of brake assembly is feasible, finite element analysis for the brake industry to provide guidance.

Abstract: The theoretical analysis and numerical study focused on the delamination onset of composites in drilling are presented. An analytical model considering the form of loads distribution is built. The formulas based on the fracture mechanics theory are given for predicting the critical drilling force of delamination onset. A finite element model is used to simulate the process of interfacial crack growth between layers. The interface elements are employed to account for delamination based on cohesive zone model. Some numerical results are given for verifying the validity of the distribution loading model and discussing the delamination onset and growth in drilling composites.

Abstract: An ultra-compact and broad-band Bragg grating based on hybrid plasmonic waveguide is presented and investigated. The Bragg grating is formed by a semiconductor trip which is separated from a metal surface by a nanoscale insulator layer. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed structure shows the capability of efficient wavelength selection near the telecom bandwidths and transmits the light with a strong mode confinement and low propagation loss. It will have a potential application in the broad-band telecommunications systems and the integrated photonic circuits.

Abstract: To solve the problems such as poor ventilation and high production costs in the production of cricoid plastics, we analysis the reasons and look for solutions with Moldflow software to guide the new design and manufacturing of the mould. The poor ventilated structure is changed into a ventilation structure. A poor ventilation structure is changed to a good ventilation structure. Injection weight ratio was reduced from 35% to 15% - 20%, the gating system was improved, the molding process was optimized, ensuring product quality and save the cost, produced good economic benefits.

Abstract: General flow of 3D parametric design was put forward according to the characters of gear design in this study. There are three key modules, which include parameters designing calculation of gear, automatic generation of 3D parametric model of gear and automatic generation of gear part drawing, and corresponding solutions were also provided. In final an example verifies the feasibility of the method. 3D parametric design system is one of efficient and reliable modern machine design techniques. The efficiency of gear designing can be greatly enhanced by adopting 3D parametric design system, and meet the needs of modern machine design. In addition, this study gives a use for reference to 3D parametric design system for other parts.
