Abstract: Loss characterization in magnetostrictors is one of the key issues for realizing reliable magnetomechanical transducers. Concerning with the hysteresis minor loop within a relatively linear area of magnetostrictive curve, there are three types of losses, elastic loss, magnetic loss and piezomagnetic coupling loss, similar to the loss mechanism of a piezoelectric (elastic, dielectric and piezoelectric losses) that our group has established recent years. By measuring accurately the mechanical quality factors QA for the resonance and QB for the anti-resonance in the admittance/impedance curve, we can derive these three physical losses. By introducing these losses factors we can characterize magnetostrictive losses using complex parameters.

Abstract: The central control modular of liquid level data acquisition and transmission system based on CAN bus was introduced. The modular was controlled by PC for transmitting and receiving data to CAN units through the USB port by the USB2.0-CAN High Speed adapter card designed by CP2102 and SJAl000, and the CAN bus controller SJA1000 and CP2102 was controlled by single chip computer (SCC) AT89C51. The hardware interface circuits was introduced, and the software flowchart and PC application program was also designed. The result shows that the system has the advantages of strong real-time, high speed, high reliability, easily extending communication devices, Plug and Play supporting, and automatic configuration. Its communications quality is better than the traditional ones, such as RS232, RS485 et al., and it can be used as real-time monitor in industrial multiple devices.

Abstract: Artificial potential field based mobile robot path planning approaches have been widely used. However, most methods are applied in the static environment where the target and the obstacles are stationary. In this paper, a potential field approach used in dynamic situation is proposed. Its major characteristics include a new attractive potential function as well as a repulsive potential function. The former takes the relative position and velocity between the robot and the target into consideration; the latter takes into account the relative position and velocity between the robot and the obstacles. The proposed approach guarantees the robot can track the moving target while escape from moving obstacles. Simulation experiments are carried out and the results demonstrate the effectiveness of the new potential field method.

Abstract: 2D rotary robotic manipulator is an ordinary mechanical structure of industrial robot. PD control is an ever-developing method for the dynamic characteristics controlling. By the co-simulation on ADAMS and Matlab/Simulink, the paper designs a feed-forward compensation PD controller and PD robust controller based on single-manipulator model and completes track and velocity control trial respectively. Through result comparison and analysis, the superiority of PD robust controller for uncertain single-manipulator is verified.

Abstract: This thesis analyses the construction mode and the software structure of networked virtual test system, explores the parallel optimization of networked virtual test in multi-core processor environment as well as carries out analysis and researches on parallel algorithm based on LabVIEW and shows the design method and realization process based on LabVIEW parallel system by illustrations. It has been shown by practice that the signal processing capabilities of the parallel virtual networked test system has been effectively improved in the multi-core processor environment.

Abstract: The frequencies and vibration modes of a launch platform are acquired through finite element simulation, and their actual values are obtained through modal test. On this basis, constructing objective function for the structure modal parameter relative residual error to be minimum, can transform model updating problem into optimization problem. Then the trust region algorithm is adopted to solve this optimization problem. This algorithm bears better robustness and computing efficiency. Through model updating, the frequency and vibration mode errors are reduced, supplying a basis for further simulation.

Abstract: The existing industrial lubrication depend on experience judgment, off-line inspection and regular oil change, whose maintenance requires rich personnel experience and still always have many errors. Line monitoring and quality diagnosis for industrial lube were studied to establish the distributed the online monitoring system based on hierarchical structure, information fusion diagnostic system based on Bayesian network and BP neural network. The filtering system for industrial lube has been developed to achieve unattended, automatic operation purposes, and trialed in the metallurgical industry. The results show monitoring data is stable, reliable, and the problem of high water content of lube in the steel industry is solved. At the same time, lube filtering is transformed from the traditional blind continuous filtering to real-time targeted filtering. In the premise of guaranteeing the lube quality, the system can save electricity more than 30%.

Abstract: The study on the physical properties of fired perforated brick in Nantong mainly from water absorption, bulk density and compressive strength has been accomplished. The physical properties of fired perforated brick which were manufactured under the different RH (relative air humidity) have been compared, and the analysis of the RH (relative air humidity) influence on the physical properties of fired perforated brick has been concluded. The results showed that, the water absorption and compressive strength of products which have been produced under the condition that the RH was about 50% were higher, but the bulk density was lower.

Abstract: Support vector data description (SVDD) can be used to solve the problems of the insufficient fault samples in the fault diagnosis field. Vector-bispectrum is the bispectrum analysis method based on the full vector spectrum information fusion. It can be used to fuse the double-channel information of the rotary machines effectively and reflect the nonlinear properties in the signals more completely and accurately. In order to realize the aim that the faults of the machines can be diagnosed effectually and intelligently under the situation of the lack of the fault samples, the intelligent diagnosis method of the faults by combining the vector-bispectrum with SVDD is put forward. By using the vector-bispectrum to process the signals and extract the characteristic vectors, which can be used as the input parameters of SVDD. The classification model is set up and therefore the running states of the machines can also be classified. The method is applied to the gearbox fault diagnosis. The results indicate that the method can be effectively used to extract the characteristic information of the gearbox signals and increase the accuracy of SVDD in the fault diagnosis.
