Abstract: The effect of Ca on the microstructure and corrosion properties was investigated. Vacuum induce melting was used to obtain the Mg-xCa-4Zn (wt.%) (x = 0%, 1%, 2% and 3%) alloys. Erode test was carried out in the Hank’s simulated body fluid for the alloys and the increasing of weight is carefully measured. The microstructure of the alloys was observed with optical microscope and energy spectrum analysis was used for accurate composition. It is found that as the increasing of Ca, the corrosion extent is getting serious for the Mg-xCa-4Zn alloys. Hardness increases as the adding of Ca in the alloys.

Abstract: PEG/ ammonium sulfate aqueous two-phase systems were supplied to separate GMP. It was found that PEG molecular weight, PEG concentration and ammonium sulfate concentration could influence the partitioning of GMP. The data of experiment showed that 18% (w/w) PEG6000 and 15% (w/w) ammonium sulfate were the optimum system, in which the protein recovery was 69.2%

Abstract: In order to develop the innovative and applied talents of students, this paper designed an experiment of composite beam bending by transverse force on the basis of the single material and pure bending beam .The calculation model of the simple beam bearing a concentrated force at the beam’s midspan was adopted. Based on this model, this paper discussed the theory calculation and made the corresponding experimental layout and got some experimental data.Compared the experimental data with the results of theoretical calculation,students can strengthen their perceptual knowledge for composite materials beams,and arouse their Learning enthusiasm and train the ability of solving engineering problems.

Abstract: The preparation of tin dioxide coated with zinc oxide nanometer powder by factional homogeneous precipitation method is reported in this paper. The diameter of prepared nanometer powder is 32nm. UV shielding , XRD, SEM and EDS of prepared nanometer powder have been investigated. The results show that tin dioxide coated with zinc oxide nanometer powder has excellent UV-shielding performance , and the UV shielding characteristic is better than single tin dioxide or zinc oxide used.

Abstract: Nano-ceramics with excellent strength, toughness, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and the like metals superplasticity show an attractive application prospect. However, the production of high density of nano-ceramics is very difficult. This paper focuses on the preparation of concentrated suspension slurry, the main technical parameters and the additive proportion of raw materials. The optimum dosage of dispersant PAANa is 1.4wt%. When the PH value is about 9, the best stability of slurry is achieved. When the milling time reaches 10h, the lowest viscosity is reached. The solid content viscosity of slurry increases with the decrease of the slurry temperature. Solid phase volume with 40vol% of slurry can be successfully cast out the mould homogeneously.

Abstract: To develop long-term anticorrosive coatings for protection of steel structures and ships and platforms, and to shorten exploitation period of this type coating, the anticorrosive property of three marine anticorrosive coatings systems with the Fluorocarbon top coating, Fluoro/acrylate top coating and Fluoro varnish top were evaluated rapidly by the accelerated corrosion environmental spectra test and Surface Stability Test (SST) based on Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). A corrosive environmental spectrum, which includes salt fog test, immersion test and UV irradiation test blocks, was proposed for accelerated test of marine protective coatings. Performence of the three systems was tested with scratched specimens and uniform specimens, and evaluated by using glossimeter, stereo microscope and image process. The results show that the system with Fluoro varnish top coating has much better anti-corrosive property than the others. The results obtained by SST method agree well with those by the accelerated corrosion environmental spectra test. SST method is a more easy-to-use and more rapid method to evaluate the anti-corrosive property of metal coated by protective coatings.

Abstract: A nano-ZnO/polystyrene resin composite was prepared by adsorption nano-ZnO predecessor (Zn2+) onto macroporous strong acid cation exchange resin, denoted as D001, followed by chemical precipitation. The framework FT-IR spectrums showed new adsorption bands at ca. 1615 cm-1 and ca. 530 cm-1 were observed in ZnO@D001 compared to D001, and vibration peak shift in D001 was found from 1001 cm-1 to 1080 cm-1 in ZnO@D001. The specific surface area declined a litte, but pore volume and average pore diameter declined a lot when nano-ZnO immobilized onto D001. All of above results demonstrated the nano-ZnO particles immobilized on the inner nano-pores/channels of D001 successfully. The coefficient of volume and surface resistance (ρV, ρS) values of ZnO@D001 were lower than 104 Ω•m, indicating its excellent antielectrostatic ability.
