State Estimate of Leakage Detection in Gas Pipelines

Article Preview

Abstract:

Researches on gas pipelines are significant to fault pipelines diagnosis. Considering defects of generally-used numerical algorithm, a research is taken on transient flow in gas pipelines, From the vantage point of governing equation- Continuity Equation, Momentum Equation and Equation of State, Analytical method is proposed to solve the formulas ,which is hard to work out .Meanwhile ,transfer function and Laplace Transform are used to derive the mathematical equations, An case is used to justify proposed method, which solve the inconveniency and inefficiency brought by numerical calculation. Then the method is applied to detect and locate a fault pipeline.
