Physical Simulation of KR Stirring Desulphurization in Special-Shaped Ladle

Abstract:

According to the theory research results of KR stirring mixing performance, a special-shaped ladle for KR stirring was designed, and the physical simulation experiment on conventional circular and special-shaped hot metal ladles were done. The experiment results indicate that : to the circular ladle, the designed special-shaped ladle significantly improves the mixing performance of KR stirring desulphurization; the operation principle for special-shaped ladle improving desulphurization dynamic condition is that the designed axisymmetric special-shaped section make a certain distance between the stirring vortex flow and the axis of stirrer, which can restrain the concentric rotation and strengthen axial and radial movement of fluid particles in stirring process.
