Abstract: The compound WO3/TiO2 nanostructures were prepared by the template technique and characterized by FE-SEM and UV-vis DRS. And they were used to degrade the dimethyl phthalate (DMP) under visible light irradiation. The effects of the initial concentration of DMP and dissolved oxygen (DO) were investigated. The results show that degradation rates reaches 59% in the optimum condition which is the catalyst dosage ~3cm2, the DO is 19.2 mg/ L, xenon lamp irradiating 300 minutes and the initial concentration of dimethyl phthalate in aqueous solution is 10 mg / L.

Abstract: Constructed wetlands are new sewage treatment technology, which have advantages of good decontamination effect, low operating costs and easy maintenance. Base on analysis of constructed wetlands composition and purification mechanism, the constructed wetlands purification influence factors are summarized, and the problems and solutions of constructed wetlands are pointed out. Carrying out in-depth study on constructed wetlands design, operational control and maintenance management to improve comprehensive benefits of wetland sewage purification technology, have great practical significance and far-reaching social significance.

Abstract: The hybrid mechanistic-statistical watershed model SPARROW (Spatially Referenced Regression on Watershed Attributes) was applied to estimate the sources and transport of total nitrogen (TN) in surface waters of Ishikari River Basin (14,330 km2), the largest watershed on the Hokkaido Island of Japan. The loads from atmospheric deposition, point sources and erosion are routed through the drainage network (900 streams) with first-order stream decay. Then we calibrated the model using measurements of TN from 31 monitoring sites of mixed spatial data on topography, soils and stream hydrography. The R2 and MSE are 0.82 and 0.62 separately. On this basis, the predication of TN distribution was evaluated, and the mean incremental annual TN yield was 11.61kg/ha/yr.

Abstract: Heavy metal concentrations of the sediment from Tuohe river in Suzhou city, northern Anhui Province were determined, and the index of Geo-accumulation (Igeo) was calculated for evaluating the extent of the metal contamination. The principal components analysis (PCA) and correlation matrix(CM) have been used for the sources of heavy metal. The result showed: The degree of pollution arranged in the following decreasing order: Cu>Zn>As>Pb>Cr>V, V is unpolluted, Cr, Pb and As are light pollution, Cu and Zn are moderate pollution; Cu, V and Zn mainly originate from human activities, Pb and As mainly derived from the source rock, Cr mainly derived from clay minerals and colloidal material.

Abstract: In order to study the effect of the dust(PM10) removal in the outdoor environment by the charged fine mist, the adsorption characteristics of the charged fine mist on the aerosol particles was considered. This paper reports an experimental investigation of the phenomena which occur when charged fine mist was jetted into the aerosol laden space. The results presents evidence to show that the charged fine mist is an efficient and convenient method of gathering the particulate matter, especially for sub-micron size solid particles. The more narrow the particle size distribution is, the better the effect of the removal of fine solid particles becomes. This study showed that the charged fine mist can greatly reduced particulate matter in the outdoor environment, which could improve the quality of environment significantly.

Abstract: The present paper describes the performance and the feasibility of the zeolite biological aerated filter applied to treat the low concentration sewage as recalaimed water reuse as cooling tower make-up water in the thermal power plant. The result showed that average removal rate of COD, turbidity and ammonia was 79%, 86% and 50% respectively, under the conditions of hydraulic loading L=4.4m3/m2•h, gas-water ratio=2:1, HRT=0.63h, t=8.5~14.5oC and backwashing in 48 hours. The average concentration of COD, turbidity and ammonia in effluent was 13.0mg/l, 4.2NTU and 1.95mg/l, respectively. The effluent quality met the water quality standards of the reuse of urban recycling water-water quality standard for industrial uses GB/T19923-2005.

Abstract: The effect of pH on Cd adsorption was studied using red soil as an adsorbent in this study. The curve of Cd adsorbed vs pH showed that the adsorption amount increased slowly at low pH, then quickly with the increase of pH, and reached the maximum amount at high pH. The adsorption data at different pH values and initial Cd(II) concentrations were fitted well by Langmuir isotherm. At last, a pH-dependent model of adsorption isotherms of Cd was established by substituting the fitting results obtained from experimental data for the parameters in Langmuir equation.

Abstract: Combining module PVTi with E300 in ECLIPSE, we found the 3D and three phases simulating module of special low permeability reservoirs in YSL Oilfield. On the basis of history matching, considering gas injection volume, slug size, gas/water ratio, the speeding of gas injection, injection rate of sequent water flooding in water alternating gas, taking the volume of increasing oil and oil-draining rate as evaluation criterion we proceed orthogonal test design according to the principle orthogonal experimental design. By means of intuitive analysis and variance analysis to the test results, getting the primary and secondary orders that injection parameters effect evaluation criterion and optimizing best combination scheme of water alternating gas injection parameters for offering theoretical direction and technical support to water alternating gas injection parameters optimization in spot CO2 displacement.

Abstract: In order to study the pollutant effect on the pedestrians and bicyclists for the different setting of bus lanes, the numerical simulation of pollutant dispersion for isolated street canyon was conducted based on a two dimensional k-ε turbulence model and species transport equation. The simulation results fit well with the corresponding wind tunnel tests. The analysis result shows that the pollutant concentration at the leeward side is evidently higher than that of the windward side in the isolated street canyon. The pollutant concentration for the bicycle lane is obviously higher than that of the sidewalk near the ground at the leeward side. As the height increases, the pollutant concentration for the sidewalk is higher than that of the bicycle lane instead. The pollutant concentrations for the sidewalk and the bicycle lane are nearly the same, and almost no change with the height increases at the windward side. When the density of bus lane is low, the emission intensity of the bus lanes is lower than that of the vehicle lanes, and setting of outside bus lanes will have less pollution to the pedestrians and bicyclists. And when the density of bus lane is high, the emission intensity of the bus lanes is higher than that of the vehicle lanes, and setting of inside bus lanes will have less pollution to the pedestrians and bicyclists.

Abstract: The changes of concentrations of pH, DO, CODCr, NH4+-N and NO3--N in Biofilm Grid-Integrated Vertical-flow Constructed Wetlands(BFG-IVCWs)by treating the urban malodorous river were measured. After 45 days, DO had its own distribution and changing regulation, the removal rate of CODCr reach to 45%, at meantime, the removal rate of NO3--N are over 50%. The diversity of microbial community and its succession were analyzed by PCR-DGGE fingerprint. The result shows: the removal rate of CODCr and NH4+-N along the river flow gradually rises, and the removal rate of NO3--N rises at last. The removal of pollutants mainly happened in the down-flow system of the BFG-IVCWs. The differences of characters of biofilm and environmental condition of different positions made the microbial community structure diversity variable. Three kinds of biofilms (W3, W5 and W7) were analyzed with Shannon-Wiener and Cs indices and the value in position W3 was the highest.
