Non-Dominated Sorting Particle Swarm Optimization for Concept Design of Tanker

Article Preview

Abstract:

A study of application for Multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm in tanker conceptual design is researched in the paper. The tanker synthesis model with effectiveness and cost as its objective is considered in optimization model. The Pareto solutions are calculated based on Non-dominated Sorting Particle Swarm Optimizer (NSPSO). The example shows that the uniformly distributed Pareto front is obtained by using NSPSO.
