Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to present a novel device for measuring draw and plug forces, which is composed chiefly of a pull stud, a top modified tool shank, a middle modified tool shank, a down modified tool shank, and an end cover. The modified tool shank structure is proposed, and the working principle of the device for measuring draw and plug forces is demonstrated. Also, the data conversion and memory module and the circuit principle are investigated.

Abstract: Numerous lightning flashes to transmission lines occurred throughout the service time. It has been found that the line outage rate is related to the number of lightning flashes on the line. In this paper, a general description of the phenomena of lightning discharges and the lightning performance of transmission lines is provided form engineering perspective.

Abstract: This paper introduces how to develop and design multiple I/O nodes using the LonWorks field-bus technology, which is based on the mainframe (single chip microcomputer). It deals with the distribution of MIO nodes, the hardware design of TP/FT-10F master controlling module, the design of VCN-MIO platter and extending module(digital, analog), the trouble diagnose of nodes, and the anti-disturbance design. It has important utility value.

Abstract: In this paper, the first new chaotic system is gained by anti-controlling Chen system,which belongs to the general Lorenz system; also, the second new chaotic system is gained by anti-controlling the first new chaotic system, which belongs to the general Lü system. Moreover,some basic dynamical properties of two new chaotic systems are studied, either numerically or analytically. The obtained results show clearly that Chen chaotic system and two new chaotic systems also can form another Lorenz system family and deserve further detailed investigation.

Abstract: Segmentation is a fundamental component of many image-processing applications. Various algorithms were proposed so far for segmentation of plant disease images. The researchers raised some corresponding solutions to different characteristics of disease spot, and these algorithms are continually improved to enhance the speed and veracity. Based on current progress, this paper gives a study on the image segmentation classification. In addition, this article also makes a comprehensive expatiation on how to solve the problem of plant disease spot by using image segmentation techniques. In the end, open problems and future trend of segmentation algorithm were discussed.

Abstract: The aim of the study is to reveal the complication of the flow process of a steam-jet by using the simulation software package (FLUENT). The paper is able to analyze the flow phenomena inside the steam-jet when its throat length was varied. It is found that the entrainment ratio remains unchanged when the throat length is varied. It is also found that the shocking position moved closer to the exit of the vacuum pump and the critical back pressure of the steam-jet pump increased with the elongation of the throat.

Abstract: Seepage analysis is important for the water-sealed underground oil reserves design.In this paper,feasibility study project is an example, carried out the calculation of the construction period and forecast of operation period, which are two aspects of the flow field characteristics of the analysis.In the flow field characteristics analysis of the construction and operation period, based on the establishment of the initial flow field model, FLAC3D stress and flow coupling module is used to carry out simulation caculation. According to the caculation results of the stable groundwater level and vertical hydraulic gradient, water-sealed effect is evaluated.We can see that the water-sealed storage design meets with the evaluation criteria,and this research work has a certain reference value for the similar projects.

Abstract: The theme of this paper concentrates on hydro- projects’ seepage field in rocks, including the properties of the seepage which flow through both hole qualitative like rocks and fractured rocks. Present the finite element analyzing program which can solve the problem of three dimensional seepage field in hole qualitative rock medium. Apply the program some hydro-project, computed the seepage field in the dam foundation and dam abutments. Besides, further research is done on the decision of the model range limit. And the influence of the pariah shape.

Abstract: In this paper we have a comparative study to improve the measurement range of the fluidic gyroscope. Using ANSYS-FLOTRAN CFD software, finite element simulation was conducted by a series of procedures, such as two-dimensional model building, meshing, applied loads and equation solving, we calculated the flow distribution in the sensitive component of fluidic gyroscope with single nozzle and nozzle array. The results show that the upper limit measurement of fluidic gyroscope is the input angular velocity when fluidic column axis deflects to the position of thermistors, and using nozzle array can change the airflow distribution in the sensitive component and achieve the purpose of improving the measurement range of fluidic gyroscope.

Abstract: In this paper, the internal flow field of RH degasser was studied by numerical simulation. The range of the reasonable gas-inlet velocity which is related to the lift gas flow rate was obtained, then the results of two different gas-inlet velocities which are the reasonable velocity and the unreasonable velocity were chosen to be analyzed. Many vortexes and some differences of the flow fields were found in the RH degasser with the two different velocities. Through these results the development of the flow field could be got and it is valuable for the production in factory.
