Abstract: Based on the damping characteristics, design a kind of magnetic fluid shock absorber, and the damping force theory formula, derived from the damping force of the formula can be that, according to the design of shock absorber, in the vehicle suspension on the dynamic performance simulation test for the damping-displacement characteristic and speed characteristics is verified by experiments, the proof is in the formula of the damping force of the damping force and the polarization current into nonlinear (secondary) relationship is reasonable, to design the actual shock absorber to really have a certain reference value.Intorduction

Abstract: Research on the mechanical properties of variable diameter Independent pile under the combined action of wind, wave and flow is carried out. Taking a variable diameter Independent pile in CB11F platform of Chengdao oilfield for example, simulative analysis is performed using the finite element software ANSYS , considering the influence for some factors to structure response, that is environmental load, soil conditions and variable diameter position. The variable diameter part of the smooth gradient cone is simplified reasonably, getting the top of the displacement and the whole body stress of variable diameter pile under wave and flow actions, comparing with the result of non-variable diameter pile, the results show that the displacement and stress of variable diameter pile decrease more than 20%, the measure adopted in this paper about decreasing the displacement of independent pile and the stress of whole body is validated.

Abstract: Combined with the roof of a warehouse the arched shell roof structure is select, simulation Numerical simulation is carried out for the arched shell roof structure system by the ANSYS finite element method, the deformation and stress are obtained which meet the specification requirements. So it is reasonable to select the thin vaulted roof. Finally, the arrangements of the two prestressing tendons of prestressed concrete beams in the framework and the matter which needs to be paid attention to during designing are given, and these can provide reference for similar finite element solution and design of the structural system.

Abstract: The paper analyzes the reasonable selection of cutting parameters and states the relations among maximum profit-oriented cutting speed, minimum cost-oriented cutting speed and maximum productivity-oriented cutting speed. It establishes a mathematical model for the optimization of cutting parameters in machining.

Abstract: During the whole vehicle design and development phase, the brake pedal arm strength is vital to vehicle drive control. In this paper, the original FEA model was built in Hypermesh and the strength analysis was operated based on ABAQUS Standard module. Because the 1st stress result couldn’t match stress requirement, the brake pedal arm structure was optimized and recalculated again until it passed the design requirement. This analysis process may be applied in verifying the brake pedal arm strength of a new developing vehicle and guiding other parts’ strength before the real experiments in the lab.

Abstract: In order to better understand seismic performance of tower body structure in a square, the symbol tower finite element model is established using the finite element software ANSYS. Modal analysis is carried out and the first 3 natural frequencies and vibration modes of marking tower are obtained. By selecting 2 group natural seismic waves and a synthetic seismic wave the seismic time-history analysis of the model is performed, the symbol tower response under the earthquake action is obtained and the maximum lateral displacement and the maximum stress of symbol tower meet the standard requirements, so mark tower under earthquake are safe. These can provide reference for the same type of engineering design.

Abstract: According to the similar characteristics of structure, geometry and constraints conditions in the same type of extrusion process, the intelligent design system of a square tube aluminum profile extrusion forming process was established in this paper based on the VB programming language, with using parametric programming language APDL provides by ANSYS software. The parameterized optimization design plan of pre-treatment and post-processing of ANSYS analysis during a square tube aluminum extrusion forming process was achieved, and the program of a three-dimensional model of the extrusion die under Visual Lisp environment was also programmed. The human-computer interaction intelligent design system which combined with pre-processing of semi-finished product, finite element analysis of extrusion die strength, extrusion die temperature field analysis, structural optimization of the die was realized. The research results show that the system can provide program decision-making, structural design, performance analysis and graphics treatment for the actual extrusion productions of square tube aluminum extrusion process, which reduced the design time of the technical staff, and saved design cost.

Abstract: A centripetal knuckle bearing performance analysis and parametric drawing system developed on AutoCAD platform is introduced in the paper. VBA is utilized to develop the system that accords with the Machine Design Manual and meets common centripetal knuckle bearing type selection flow. Databases of various series of knuckle bearings are established with Access and AutoCAD is connected with Access using ADO to call the data in the Access databases from AutoCAD platform. The system interface established with VBA is easy to use and guide the designer to accomplish the type selection and life check of a knuckle bearing and call the parametric drawing module to complete its detail drawing. The system can not only facilitate the bearing selection and drawing process, but also enhance the integration degree of product design process.

Abstract: There is a set of 6 degrees of freedom (6-DOF) loading system with the simulated border for the application of material structural strength and reliability tests. This is a novel equipment for the tests of structural mechanical properties and reliability in different materials. This study showed a three-dimensional structure model, introduced the definition of the test of the 6-DOF loading system with the simulated border, and discussed the primary theory of the system and technical performance. Based on the matrix of direction cosine of the system, the solutions of inverse kinematics of 6-DOF loading system were given. The system of control was introduced as well.

Abstract: Several wind pressure distribution forms of domestic and foreign large LNG storage tanks are introduced in this paper, and the similarities and differences among them are gotten by comparative analysis. The wind pressure distribution of the analytic form used by foreigners and the discrete values given in building structure load specification are substantially the same, but the discrete values used in our specification are partial in safety. Then large LNG tank wind-induced static buckling analysis is developed, and these can laid the foundation for the further research on wind resistance of LNG storage tank.
