Study on the Development of Low-Carbon Tourism

Abstract:

Low-carbon economy has become the trend of global economic development. Low-carbon tourism is a new tourism development method and an upgrade of eco-tourism in the context of a low carbon economy. It enjoys unique advantages in response to low-carbon economy and can promote low-carbon economy development through low-carbon process in the aspects including tourism environment, facilities, and consumption. It could promote low-carbon tourism through Perfecting management system, strengthening education and propaganda, developing incentives, building low-carbon tourism experimental demonstration area and increasing the research and application of the low-carbon technology in tourism.
