On Analysis of Ancient Town Settlement along Sichuan Salt Road - Taking the Landscape Optimization and Updated Design of Xianshi Ancient Town, Zigong, Sichuan as an Example

Abstract:

The landscape optimization and updated design of Xianshi Ancient Town, Zigong, Sichuan along the Sichuan Salt Road are elaborated in the presented work. The development of the settlement landscape, the objective of the updated design, the creative plan of the new landscape, the new landscape nodes and optimization for the old forms are mainly analyzed so as to realize the heart return of the town natives by reviving the place spirit, maintaining the beautiful landscape and developing the tourism of ancient salt town.
