AHP-Based Research on the Selection of Construction Project Subcontractor

Abstract:

AHP is usually adopted by design-build enterprise to help to make decision in subcontractor selection and build hierarchical structure for the target and evaluation factors which both may affect the selection decision, and meanwhile propose a proper analytical mode and calculation method. This paper takes an concrete engineering example as research object, and the research result shows that AHP can give the priority to impact factors among various factors and obtain the order of comprehensive weight of each impact factors, and eventually help to select a satisfactory subcontractor. This method reduces the influence from personal factor and enhances the objectivity and scientific of each decision.
