Article Preview

Abstract:

Most of Chinese populations are distributed in scattered areas such as countryside, small towns and suburb where there is less quantity of wastewater and lower pollution degree. In this case, it is not economic to specially build a wastewater treatment plant. This paper discusses to combine the wetland principle for wastewater treatment with landscape ecological construction to build a landscape living-water park with integrated functions of wastewater treatment and sight-viewing. This scheme is proved to be both economically and technically feasible, and can also greatly promote the people’s material and mental life.
