Article Preview

Abstract:

For concrete pile foundation in acid soil, durability is the key issue. The present paper summarizes the current research progress of corrosion of pile shaft material-concrete in acid environment. In addition, it introduces influencing factors and evaluation indexes of concrete corrosion in acid environment. Finally, on the basis of recent advancement on concrete corrosion in acid environment, the paper also points out some problems which need further studying.
