Abstract:

One 150 ton converter of an iron and steel group occurred nodded phenomenon in the production process, the dynamic characteristics is poor. Initially be suspected that the converter exist “negative” torque steel. In order to clarify the changes of tilting torque in the steel process. apply Solidworks software ,create 3D model of converter, then determine the Center of gravity position and calculate the tilting torque of the converter with the tilting angle changes. Solidworks software is parameterized 3D design software, can calculate quickly and accurately, has strong analytical processing capabilities. This paper made to calculate provide a simple method of calculation for converter equipment design and maintenance.
