Trial Study on EV Battery Recycling Standardization Development

Article Preview

Abstract:

Electric vehicle (EV) industry is developing rapidly all over the world, and as one of the most important components, EV battery will be needed widely in the future. The recycling of EV battery is important for the sustainable development of EV industry. This paper starts from the analysis of the development of EV industry and current EV battery recycling status. Combined with current battery recycling policies and standards status, based on the recycling technical standards of small lithium batteries and lead-acid batteries, this paper initially establishes EV battery recycling standard framework, including access requirements, collection and transportation, storage, disassembly, echelon reuse and material recycling, etc.
