Air Duct Modeling and Simulation of Air-Laid Machine Based Automotive Interior Materials of Hemp Fiber
Abstract:
Hemp fiber automotive interior materials had been developed for innovative design of the duct of air-laid machine. Gambit software was adopted to form a network of two-dimensional modeling and meshing to the air duct. At the same time, Fluent software was used for simulation and numerical analysis, then we received the pressure contours of the internal flow field, the speed of cloud images and the velocity vector. By analyzing the simulation results, the flow parameters and force and movement of fiber were displayed intuitively. In addition, the focus was that the reasonableness of the design of the duct cross-section shape and the parameters were verified. Providing a certain foundation to further enhance the clutter distribution of hemp fiber in an air duct, and the development of mechanical properties of the stability of automotive interior materials.
