Application of Servo-Motors for Cold Rolling Tube Mills

Article Preview

Abstract:

The development of modern technologies should be reflected in all spheres of its use and that includes such an important sector as heavy machinery construction. The equipment in heavy machinery industry usually has its own specifics such as large sizes, heavy weight and tough working conditions. This imposes significant constraints on the development. Often such machines are still designed with the use of complex mechanical transmissions to ensure coherent motion of mechanisms. But such work is entirely tied to the mechanics and is not flexible, therefore easily reconfigurable. With the advent of low-inertia servo-motors in the line of motors it became possible to make a big step forward in the development of heavy industry.
