Application and Practice of Local Materials in the Village Remediation

Abstract:

Local material, mainly as wood, stone, brick, and tile is easy to get from the local area, and can reflect some regional characteristics. This paper classifies local material as pavement material, masonry material, and decoration material, which can be applied by trim, repair and transform technologies to the village environment and building remediation. In addition, this paper further analyses the function and usage of local material by case study.
