Research and Implementation of Remote Virtual Teaching Platform on VRML-Java

Article Preview

Abstract:

Network virtual technology can provide solutions for experimental courses. It is low-cost, function congruent advantages, and the teaching cross-regional requirements. Virtual teaching platform can be real-time interaction between teachers and students. VRML-Java synchronized platform is designed in the paper, we initially realized the online substation system, and it includes the control and protection system, monitoring system, event log and fault recorder system, same period closing system. The virtual platform solves some challenges in the prototype experiment, increases knowledge and deep understanding to students, it gets better teaching results.
