BIM Application Analysis in Transportation Project

Abstract:

BIM was applied in building in China. It has three characteristics: abundant information, automatic drawing and multi-lateral cooperation. This paper analyses BIM application status, various stages of transportation project and its characteristics. Then the paper purposes a basis which concludes decision stage, construction stage and operation stage of transportation project data standards. It also develops large BIM platform which covers projects and all stages.
