Abstract: The Beam String Structure was in short-side direction. This paper simulated Beam String Structure in long-side direction. Through SAP2000 analysis of vibration mode and stress of single and overall structure, some features of the structure were obtained. The single structure has small rigidity disadvantage, while the overall structure has reasonable stiffness. Then the paper draws a conclusion that disadvantage in long-side direction can be remedied by overall structure.

Abstract: The H-beam with corrugated web is a new type of H-beam, whose web is produced by substituting corrugated web for flat web. This paper reviews the research status on mechanical properties of H-beam with corrugated web at home and abroad recently, and its bearing capacity calculation method is summarized. Finally, the future development of H-beam with corrugated web is prospected. As can be seen by comparing, there is much more room for the new field of research.

Abstract: Snow related failures can have significant impact on the safety of people who occupy snow damaged buildings. So the research for snow distribution characteristics on the roofs can avoid personnel casualty and economic losses caused by heavy snowdrift. This paper outlines the current researches of snow distribution on surface of the different roofs and the methods of researching for snowdrifting. The practical calculation method of the snow load on the typical low rise buildings was investigated by comparison between the different countries load code for example China, America, Canada and Europe.

Abstract: This paper contains a solution of the problem of determining stress state in clay soil near a cylindrical and spherical cavities for the propagation of the moisture out of the cavity into the solid mass. The problem is solved in a stationary symmetric formulation taking into account changes the modulus of elasticity of soil moisture. The problem is reduced to a differential equation with variable coefficients. This complicates the solution of the problem compared with the solutions for constant modulus of elasticity, but it provides a more accurate solution.

Abstract: The principle of structure optimal design for high building with shear wall structure is introduced in detail. Six structure schemes of a residential building with rectangle plane in high seismic intensity are proposed. Then six structural models are set up and calculated by SATWE software. And parameters of the result, such as story lateral stiffness and ratio of stiffness of the story to the upper story, inter-story displacement ratio, story seismic shear and so on are analyzed respectively. By controlling the displacement and lateral stiffness to a rational value and the material amount to a minimum level, the six structure schemes are compared and an optimal one is selected.

Abstract: With the development of passive energy dissipation technology, using friction damped braces to retrofitted structural are suggested in this paper. Described the basic principles and mechanism of seismic controlled by energy dissipation. The comparative analysis of structure with or without friction damped braces is conducted, and the results show that energy dissipation system is very effective and the working behavior of structure is stable.

Abstract: Treat the upper plate and lower plate of ribbed hollow floor as the surfaces of sandwich panel, and the ribbed hollow layer as the central layer of sandwich panel; consider the bending stiffness of the surfaces and transverse shear deformation of the central layer; use Hoff laminated theory; based on the same stiffness principle; establish sandwich panel structure model of hollow floor; Derive partial differential equations of cast-in-place reinforced concrete two-way ribbed and thin-walled hollow floor under vertical uniform load and present the analytic solution of the equations with two opposite clamped edges and others simply supported edges. Analyze the mechanical properties of hollow floor. The results are very close to the results of using finite element method.

Abstract: According to the loading character of bonded post-tensioned prestressed concrete frame, the static nonlinear finite programme in this paper could be used to analysis the whole loading process to bonded post-tensioned prestressed concrete frame, which is divided into two different stages . From the stress-strain curve of materials and considering the concrete’ tension harding and compression softening, this programme uses the layered finite element model and arc-length method to analyse the bonded post-tensioned prestressed concrete frame, during the course it considers the material nonlinearity and geometric nonlinearity in the stiffness matrix. Through the contrast to experiment , the result of the programme fits well with the experiment. The programme can be used to compute and analyse the bonded post-tensioned prestressed concrete frame.

Abstract: This paper introduces the impact experiment and an engineering application of the new composited wall which composed of calcium silicate composited board. Clearly defines the impact resistance of the wall in different connection as interior walls and exterior walls through observing the wall’s changes in the number of 5 times or even up to 50 times impact (10 times of the national standard). It can be known from the experiment that long wall has large vibration but good integrity. The window wall may fracture easily and is not able to meet the minimum standard requirements of impact resistance when the width is small. It needs to take reinforce measures.

Abstract: This paper mainly introduces how to use the method of combining plane coordinates and polar coordinate, and the method of using ANSYS software to establish the calculating model of the limited units about the Push-extend Multi-under-reamed Pile, at the same time, it is successfully provided that a method of building model of the limited units for computer simulation analysis of irregular rotator body.
