Stress Analysis of Six-Point Glass Panel for Point Supported Glass Curtain Wall under Wind Load

Abstract:

Short period fluctuating wind speed is simulated by using Auto-Regressive and it is proved that the calculation methods are reasonable. The variation of stresses on the middle supporting point of six-point glass panel is analyzed and it is shown that the application of elastic support on the middle supporting point can significantly relieve the stress. The method to find out the best elastic floating quantity is also determined.
