Railway Passenger Trains Information Inquiry System Based on Short Message Modem

Abstract:

This paper advocates a way which is cheap and has a wide popularity--Short Messaging Service (SMS) to achieve railway passenger trains information anywhere and anytime instantly. This system not only accomplishes the railway passenger trains’ data collection, extraction, analysis and creates the Access database but also realizes access for database by application of PowerBuilder programming language and feedback appropriate information to the users via the way of SMS. It makes mobile phone users achieve all kinds of railway passenger trains information easily and supplements the shortcomings and deficiencies of the other current query systems.
