Abstract: One of promising candidates as dopants for forming ultra-shallow and high conductive source/drain in future silicon devices has been proposed to be dimer or trimer co-dopants containing pairs or trios of different impurity elements. Making choice of a combination of the impurity elements with a small ionization energy is essential for the appropriate dimers and trimers. In this work we calculated total energies of silicon with substitutional or ineterstitial impurity elements and derived formation energies for the substitutional and interstitial impurity elements for the atomic number 1 to 83 with the exception of inert gas and lanthanum series elements. We present here the periodic table with the formation energies of the substitutional and interstitial impurity elements for determining the most stable site of the impurity elements in Si lattice. We can use this table as a database for calculating ionization energies of the impurity element.

Abstract: Abstract. A controller gain design problem of two-dimensional (2-D) linear systems is proposed in this paper. For one-dimensional (1-D) systems, the necessary and sufficient conditions have been established for the problem, and an analytical solution for the feedback gain is given by [1]. Based on the existing 1-D analytical solution, a 2-D state feedback controller gain can be designed to achieve the desired poles. Finally, two numerical examples are shown to exhibit the validity of the proposed approach.

Abstract: Embedded real-time systems are facing more and more security problems. Malicious attacks on the system from suspicious or malicious code and the change of system hardware state could lead to system exception, resulting in system reliability and security deteriorated. This paper summarizes the characteristics of embedded real-time system and its special requirements for security, analyses security problems faced by embedded real-time system and defects of programming languages. And then put forward methods to improve the safety of embedded real-time system, providing a new security the idea for solving the embedded real-time system security.

Abstract: The effect of non-normality of the Navier-Stokes operator on the dynamics of an axisymmetric swirling flow, namely, the Oseen vortex, has been investigated. The eigenvalue analysis and transient growth analysis have been employed in order to obtain the least stable eigenmode and the global optimal perturbation, which are both considered as the initial perturbation. Three stages of dynamic process have been put into evidence for the evolution of the optimal perturbation. The early (linear) stage is characterized by the amplification of radial perturbation, consistent with the prediction of transient growth theory. Having come into the nonlinear stage, the perturbation energy growth is suppressed by the interaction between the vortex ring and the Oseen vortex core. Finally, the phenomena of secondary energy growth are also observed. Compared with the results obtained by applying the least stable eigenmode as the initial disturbance, the nonlinear behavior of the optimal perturbation features radial fluid motion and the rapid production of small eddies, which are both thought to be beneficial to fluid entrainment or mixing. The effect of perturbation amplitude on the nonlinear evolution of flows is also studied.

Abstract: The diesel engine vibration induced by piston impact force (also known as slaps) presents us very important information about piston-and-cylinder clearance and engine performance. However it is notorious difficult formaking an accurate measurement for the piston slaps due to the enormous interferences, reverberation, and complicated vibration responses. This paper presents an application of blind source separation technique to solve the problem. The method is based on one novel algorithm which uses blind source de-convolution algorithm. It can overcome the conventional blind source separation calculation drawbacks like local minimization value problems occurred with the fixed step response algorithm. The simulation and experiment results have indicated it can recover the corrupted signals and obtain the accurate piston slap signals at the measurement point.

Abstract: This paper does the data simulation analysis by using the large-scale finite element nonlinear ANSYS/LS-DYNA software. It chooses the MAT111(MAT-JOHNSON-HOLMQUIST -CONCRETE)concrete materials and the MAT3 (MAT-PLASTIC-KINEMATIC) reinforcement material model in ANSYS/LS-DYNA finite element software, builds the separating RC column finite element model, dynamically simulates the hurting process of RC column under the effect of explosive impact load, and mainly does research into the damage degree of RC column under different effects of explosive load of different peak pressures.

Abstract: Laser shock wave oscillation caused by lateral inertia effects of Hopkinson bar in large-diameter SHPB apparatus, and the geometry dispersion effect, particularly, the rise time of the stress wave in different diameters and lengths of Hopkinson bar were investigated. The three-dimensional model of member bar is established by the finite element analysis software ABAQUS, and the different shapes pressure pulses including rectangular, triangular and Gaussian pulses induced by laser shock have been loaded on the end face of the bar, respectively. Results indicate that the triangle pressure pulse and Gaussian pressure pulse show less dispersion effect than rectangle stress pulse on wave shape, and Gaussian stress pulse can keep the morphology better and reduce the dispersion effect more effectively than triangle stress pulse in the propagation process. In addition, as the bar diameter increases and the distance of the propagating stress wave raises, wave oscillation enhances significantly in the bar, the same as the rise time of stress wave increases gradually and the maximum stress also has a certain degree of attenuation, which have influence on laser shock processing or forming.
