Synthesis of SnO2 Nanotubes as High Performance Energy Storage Material for Photocathodic Protection of Metals
SnO2 nanotubes were synthesized by a layer-by-layer technique on carbon nanotubes template. The obtained SnO2 nanotubes were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The as-synthesized SnO2 nanotubes coating exhibits high energy storage ability and good photocathodic protection property for metals.
