Study on a Structure of 2,6-Pyridine-Dicarboxylic Acid Lead, Pb(C₇H₃NO₄)

Abstract:

A novel Pb metal complex Pb(C₇H₃NO₄) has been synthesized from a solution reaction and the crystal structure has been determined by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The Pb atom is seven-coordinated by one N atom and six O atoms. The crystal packing is stabilized by O-H...O and O-H...N hydrogen bonding interactions.
