Abstract: Sustainable research inconstruction environments has being weakening more interest for theconstruction sector, due to visible wastes during the constructive processes. In this scenario, high costs and consumptions of unnecessary materials in the work activities are inserted also, which generate waste and customer dissatisfaction. The real knowledge of this situation can be present with the Lean Thinking concepts application. The scientific initiation research identifies, from the Value Stream mapping application, the structural elements processes and all the waste detected in their observation. This study case shows how to apply the lean principles, and presents your informally application in the Brazilian Company specifically. This study has an investigative character, and considers that the company applies just a part of the Lean principles. Therefore, the paper has as objective to present the application of VSM and the preliminary sustainable analyses too.

Abstract: In this paper, the effect of pore structure on the chloride ions ingress into concrete was investigated. The most probable diameter was measured by Mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP) and the total porosity was measured by evaporative water method (EWM). The results indicate that the most probable diameter by MIP has better linear relationship with chloride diffusion coefficient than the total porosity by EWM, the most probable diameter has significant influence on chloride diffusivity, and the smaller most probable diameter will lead to higher chloride penetration resistance.

Abstract: This article demonstrated the necessity of building energy-saving design in our country. Analyzed the advanced building energy conservation technology applied to the BedZED in United Kingdom, such as solar energy technology, ventilation technology and water-saving technology. In accordance with the practice in Residential area in China, the realization way of building energy conservation technology is presented, in order to achieve the aim of sustainable development.

Abstract: This paper explores the significance of residential area landscape design from the angle of the residential area landscape evolution. Separately from the origin of the eastern and western landscape design, it expounds the meaning of the residential landscape on landscape origin. From the point of view that the residential landscape is the turning and expand fulcrum of modern landscape, it discusses the change process of landscape concept. As the residential landscape has become an independent direction, it explains the future trend of modern landscape design.

Abstract: one thousand years, in northern shanxi frontier area always all is the central and northern nomadic tribes for focus in urban construction, also reflect the very strong frontier military defense characteristics, after the passage of time, which also gives birth to the frontier town of shanxi unique frontier fortress culture. Based on the national historical and cultural city led by general layout, DaiXian city as an example, from its natural environment, history, military defense, ancient city pattern and architectural characteristics of shanxi discusses ancient frontier town history culture and the characteristics of the development of city.

Abstract: Construction affects ecological environment as well as mankind. It continuously influences the surroundings, user’s life and especially highly developed cities in our country. Ecological construction will become the main stream in the 21st century. Construction is closely related to the sustainable development which is composed of three important aspects, namely, environment protection, economic development and social progress. Ecological construction should be a part of sustainable development. Facing the main problems in ecological environment and construction design in China, this paper suggests that in the construction design the application of ecological strategy should be paid attention to, and that to promote the ecological construction design should rely on the enhancing of the ecological consciousness of whole society, the strengthening of the communication between man and the natural environment, and the perfecting of laws on the ecological building design.Building in the people, nature and social - economic compound ecological system, not only affects the earth's ecological system, and directly related to the survival and development of the human being. The rapid development of construction industry in our country, the neglect building, and the natural ecological environment, the coordination between the various technical equipment in use, the improvement of people's living environment, give people bring convenient and comfortable at the same time, also produced many negative effect and harm, such as the construction of environmental pollution, building materials the harmful elements, noise, "air conditioning syndrome" trapped around the people's life and health. Therefore, we must pay attention to ecological strategy application in architectural design.

Abstract: The Construction is recognized as one of the most important activities for the economic and social development, and on the other hand, behaves also as a major generator of environmental impacts, either by consumption of natural resources, the modification of the landscape or the generation of construction and demolition waste (CDW). Investing in an implementation of managed clean and healthy in the area of CDW is essential for the environment and for the economy of the cities, who are spending less resources on the collection, cleaning of drains and treatment of diseases. Nowadays, the amount of waste generated is considered large, occupying much space in landfills, and its transportation, depending on the volume and weight, is quite expensive. Recycling and reuse of these wastes are extremely important to control and mitigate environmental problems, as well as produce various materials value-added. Over 90% of waste can be recycled, reused and transformed into aggregates with characteristics very similar to the original product, thus creating environmentally friendly products such as sand, gravel, pebbles. This research concerns the study of the properties of concrete containing CDW, aiming its use in the manufacture of concrete blocks to seal without structural function. Blocks have been molded with partial replacement of natural aggregates by recycled aggregates and later were performed tests of compressive strength in accordance with the standards to prove the technical feasibility of the material for the trait studied.
