Feed-Forward Integrated with Fuzzy-PID Feed-Back Control of Electronic Throttle Valve

Article Preview

Abstract:

Nonlinearity of return spring and friction makes the response characteristics of electronic throttle valve difficult to be promoted. In mainly consideration of calls for response rate and dynamic error, we designed the controller which adopting feed-forward control (FFC) and self-tuning fuzzy-PID as feed-back control (FBC) , a simplified electronic throttle model is also used to decrease computation time. As test for the controller, off-line simulation and Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP) technique are both taken. Via substantial measurements and continuous modulation the designment demonstrated excellent behavior.
