Study and Application of the IOT Technology in Railway

Abstract:

Internet of Things (IOT) has the advantages of thorough perception, comprehensive connection and deep intelligent application etc., which provide support for the informational and intelligent development in railway. Oriented to the demand of IOT in railway, this paper focuses on the combination of railway and IOT technology. Based on the analysis of IOT technology and railway business demands, this paper establishes a framework of its technical applications in railway, and comes up the application frameworks in railway transport and dispatching, management of capacity resource, passenger and freight, safety, and information control.
