A New-Type of Phenolic Resin Sand Control and its Construction Technology

Article Preview

Abstract:

The structure of phenolic resin was improved to enhance consolidation strength and decrease resin dosage according to its curing mechanism, and sand control costs was decreased greatly, phenolic resin with a higher consolidation strength at the lower temperature was synthesized, some factors which effect its consolidation strength was investigated deeply. Phenolic resin can be diluted with water and to be carried to subterranean formation by the synergism of the powder gain adsorptivity and the surfactant dispersity.
