Design for Energy Optimization Method Based on Energy Unit

Article Preview

Abstract:

Design for energy optimization is an efficiency way to improve energy utilization rate and the environmental performance of products. A new design method for energy optimization based on energy unit (EU) is put forward. The method integrates energy property into design process of product, and takes the product as a set of design units and realizes the design for energy optimization process by the design of EU. Based on the introduction of the concept EU, the design for energy optimization process in the utilization stage is analyzed. At last, a product case is given to show the design process.
