Abstract: Forming process of 4Cr9Si2 martensite refractory steel by cross wedge rolling was simulated by means of rigid-plastic finite elementDEFROM-3D software. From wedge tip angle to analyze the central defeats: The increase of maximum stress and its duration time is resulted from the rise of wedge tip fillet (R); the maximum shear stress and maximum shear strain did not change significantly, but its duration time will enlarge with increasing of wedge tip fillet; these factor will lead to the higher possibility of internal defeats. Rolling experiments are carried out to verify the correctness of the FEM and feasibility of simulation results by the experiment: internal defeats have appeared in the conditions of R=12mm.

Abstract: Modeling of crystal structure in material science curriculum was practiced and applied to keep it simple and understandable by using MS. The unit cells and atomic configurations are produced to show the theory system of geometry description of crystal structure. Many examples, as diamond, graphite, nanomaterial and advanced carbon materials, are employed to describe the main application of MS in material science teaching. According to these atomic modeling configurations, crystal structures exhibit a clearly and understandable appearance for us. So, the meaning of learning and understanding the related parameters of geometry description of crystal structure was explored with the point which helped students to realize and master the abstract concepts of crystal structure.

Abstract: Fiber Materials have a long history of development. As human economy and scientific and technological civilization constantly advance, new type fiber materials have broken through existing concept of fiber, resulting in substantial change in structure, performance, and function, etc. New type fiber materials emerge one after another, including performance fiber, functional fiber and perceptive fiber, etc. Based on the development of new type fiber materials, the paper analyzes technical innovation and application of intelligent textile fiber materials.

Abstract: Acid-functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotube (AF-MWCNT)-supported tetranitro-copper phthalocyanine (TNCuPc) assemblies were prepared by solid phase synthesis method. The products were characterized by infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and XRD. The electrocatalytic activity of the obtained AF-MWCNT-supported TNCuPc assemblies was measured by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and rotating disk electrode (RDE) techniques in an oxygen-saturated 0.1 M KOH. The results showed that the catalytic activity of TNCuPc/AF-MWCNTs towards oxygen reduction was a two-step, two-electron process for oxygen reduction.

Abstract: In order to solve the problems of plane processing of the sapphire corundum crystals, an orthogonal test design was put forward to investigate the key factors that influencing the quality of grinding and polishing, and the optimal plane processing parameters were obtained by visual analysis. The samples of the sapphire corundum crystals were processed using the optimal plane processing parameters, and the surface roughness was also detected using Mahr roughness instrument, the test results show that the plane quality is improved dramatically.

Abstract: A novel antioxidant chitosan film incorporated with pomegranate peel extract (PPE) (0, 1%, 2%, and 3% (w/v)) was developed. The mechanical property, water vapor permeability, total phenolic content and antioxidant activity of the films were investigated. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra revealed that good interactions occurred between functional groups of chitosan with PPE. The flexibility and water vapor barrier property were improved by incorporation with PPE. Films containing PPE had higher total phenolic content and showed better antioxidant activity. These results suggest that chitosan films incorporated with PPE can be useful for meat preservation.

Abstract: A new poly (diethylene glycol adipate -co- neopentylglycol adipate) (PDNA) was synthesized from diethylene glycol adipate (DEAP) with neopentylglycol adipate (NPAP). The chemical structure of PDNA was characterized by 1H-NMR. PLA was plasticized by various amount of PDNA to obtain biodegradable blends. The effects of both temperature and shear rate on the rheologies of PLA/PDNA blends were evaluated by a parallel plate rheometer.

Abstract: Tri-(1, 4-butanediol single-butyrate) citrate (TBBC) was synthesized as a new plasticizer for PLA. The chemical structure of TBBC was characterized by FT-IR. PLA was plasticized with various amount of TBBC. The effects of both temperature and shear rate on the rheologies of PLA/TBBC blends were evaluated by a parallel plate rheometer.

Abstract: A new chiral stationary phase for amlodipine (3-ethyl 5-methyl-2 -[(-2-(aminoethoxymethyl)-4-(2-chlorophenyl)-1,4-dihydro-6-methyl-3,5-pyridinedicarboxylate) based on a molecularly imprinted polymer has been prepared by radiation polymerization method and used for chromatographic separation of the chiral enantiomers. The effects on the separation of mobile phase and flow rate were investigated, and the optimum conditions for HPLC were shown to be: mobile phase, chloroform; flow rate, 0.3 ml min-1; at room temperature. The results has shown that the amlodipine-imprinted polymer was capable of recognizing the enantiomeric difference between the template and its R-enantiomer, whereas the non-imprinted and thermal polymerization polymer have no chiral recognition ability for the enantiomers.
