Filtering of Digital Hologram

Abstract:

With the development of computer technology and high-resolution charge coupled device (CCD), digital holography is widely used. However, there are noises in digital hologram inevitably, which is very unfavorable to reconstruct hologram and analysis fringes. From two aspects: frequency domain and space domain, we adopted mean filter, medium filter and Butterworth low-pass filter to remove the noise in digital hologram obtained with experiment. The experimental result showed that digital hologram was clearer and its contrast was enhanced. There was better reconstructing effect.
