Reliability Analysis and Design of Facility Systems Based on Edge Failures: A Review

Article Preview

Abstract:

Reliability of facility systems is to a large degree affected by the edge (facility) failures. In this paper, we review the models and methods of the analysis and the design of reliable facility systems based on the classical location problems subject to edge failures. It shows that the reliability of facility systems will increase when considering the edge failures in locating decision.
