Abstract: Steel frame filled with steel-concrete composite deep beam was suggested to meet middle rigidity demand between steel frame and steel frame-shear wall structure. Two quasi-static tests on steel frame filled with composite deep beam and one test on moment steel frame were conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness. The composite deep beam can supply suitable stiffness to the moment frame to form desired lateral resisting system and realize gradually changing of the stiffness from steel frame to steel frame-shear wall structure. The interactive analysis was adopted to calculate the distribution parameter of the shear force and moment between the composite deep beam and steel frame as reference for the design of the structure. The results give an effective method to assure lateral stiffness of the structure as well as provide suitable earthquake-resistant capability and dissipate seismic energy capacity by choosing the span-to-depth ratio of the composite deep beams. The outside reinforced concrete plate can restrain the buckling of the steel plate and make full use of the steel.

Abstract: Due to the fact that the large bending moment and shearing force distributes at the upper-side pile of the available piled embankments when the embankment fill is thick, a rigid grid-pile composite foundation is presented. Using a comparative analysis, the force behaviors for the middle pile, side pile and geogrid in different types of rigid-pile-reinforced embankments are investigated. The research shows that the tension distributing in geogrid decreases by the setting of the pile head or the rigid grid. The setting of the rigid grid contributes obviously to decreasing the bending moment and shearing force at the upper-side pile.

Abstract: The temperature has been reduced in the aggregate heating, mixing, transportation and paving for Warm mix asphalt mixture (WMA),but the temperature of hot mix mixes has no diversification. So the mixing ratio of warm mix asphalt mixed material cannot be completely designed to the HMA and it should be designed by the mixing ratio of WMA. Through analyzing the relationship of aggregate moisture content and getting the performance of the allowed moisture . Combining with the principle of conservation of energy and laboratory to get the conclusion of the aggregate heating time and heating temperature, in order to calculate the construction control parameters, and it will promote the application of asphalt pavement in the construction.

Abstract: Prestressed concrete hollow slab bridge is widely applied in the highway bridge in our country, this paper shows that longitudinal crack appeared earliest in the defective component parts based on the test of 30 m span real bridge under plate cyclic loading experiment. The test data show that at the initial stage when the load is low and crack width is narrow, cyclic loading does not exerts an influence crack development, and when the load increase and crack expand to a certain level, cyclic loading exerts an influence crack development visibly. The discipline between the crack width with loading process is also studied, and the conclusion is helpful to understand load cracking behavior under cyclic loading and damage accumulation and performance of bridges.

Abstract: In this paper, a new type of warming compound blocks with slag concrete was designed and prepared. The effect of specification, hole pattern and form of warming compound blocks on the thermal property of the blocks was researched. The results show that, with the addition of slag, EPS and aerated concrete, the thermal property will be improved greatly. The thermal resistance of warming compound blocks with three rows of EPS would reach 1.13 m2•K/W, and the thermal resistance of warming compound blocks with three rows of aerated concrete would reach 0.83 m2•K/W.

Abstract: The swelling-shrinking soil embodies the features of expanding when absorbing water and shrinking when drying out; its engineering properties are sensitive to water fluctuation. Mainstream test instruments of SWCC cannot accurately get its relationship between matric suction and water volume fraction. So a correction method based on the results of shrinkage test is carried out. The method is accomplished by using the volume deformation which is obtained in shrinkage test to calculate its real water volume fraction and then combining the results of SWCC test and finally constructing the relationship between matric suction and water volume fraction. Through real application, this method is proved to be feasible and essential.

Abstract: In history, traditional commercial centers played an important role not only in the growth, the development and the flourish of a city, but in the succession of historical culture and the local custom. In the modern society, the traditional commercial centers still affect a citys economy and culture in various aspects. At present, because of weakness of the related theories, people have various opinions about the traditional commercial centers. Therefore, how to understand correctly the connotation of the traditional commercial centers and how to study the programming of the traditional commercial centers at a higher level, is the main topic of this article. The article starts with the analyses of the concept of the traditional commercial centers. Based on surveys on-the-spot and the documentary data, it compares the similarities and differences between the practice and the theory in China, analyzes the success and failure, thus establishes the systematic programming mechanism of the traditional commercial centers. Under the guidance of the systematic programming mechanism, this article tries to establish the mechanism of the historical evolution, the development motivation, the goal-establishment, and the control in construction, so as to leads to its orderly development.
